The use of hair as an entry point into mental health care
This Mental Health Awareness Month, we're thrilled to launch #TrimtheStigma a campaign that turns stylists and barbers into champions of mental health awareness. Our spaces are more than just places for haircuts; they're where meaningful conversations can happen, and where we can all play a part in breaking down the barriers around mental health discussions.
Our mission with #TrimtheStigma is simple: to give you, our trusted stylists and barbers, the tools you need to be allies for mental health, helping to spot signs, spark important chats, and gently guide those in need towards professional support. We're not asking them to be therapists, but to be beacons of empathy and understanding.
Let's come together to change the narrative around mental health, making it as easy to talk about as the weather. With #TrimtheStigma we're building a caring community, one trim or haircut at a time. Join us in making a real difference, ensuring that nobody has to struggle alone.
