Small Group PsychoHairapy Certification

We don’t heal in isolation. As a small group, you will engage in the PsychoHairapy certification process which includes an 8-hour skills-based training course that teaches participants how to 1) retell the history of our hair, 2) identify, understand, and empathize with signs of mental illness, and 3) apply active listening and micro-counseling to someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. You will be met with materials supported by scientific rigor and facilitators that model gentle nurturing care as you learn applied techniques and experience some healing of your own.
